Stafford group schedules July 12 meeting to discuss hamlet proposal
An informational meeting will be held Wednesday, July 12, at 7 p.m. at the Rolling Hills Community Church, 3550 SW Borland Road, in Tualatin for people interested in finding out more about the Stafford proposal to form a hamlet. The proposal will be considered by the Board of County Commissioners at a Public Hearing on July 27.
The area affected is between Lake Oswego and West Linn north of I-205. This is the northern portion of the Stafford Community Planning Organization (CPO).
The original two applications to form hamlets and villages have been combined into the hamlet group. Both chief petitioners and members of the Hamlet Steering Committee will answer questions about the proposed hamlet. Interested individuals are encouraged to attend the meeting and volunteer for subcommittees for the proposed hamlet.
