DETECTIVES RELEASE SKETCH OF FEMALE SUSPECT IN RESIDENTIAL ROBBERY

Clackamas County Sheriff's detectives have released a sketch of the female suspect in the residential robbery, which occurred in Estacada on 6-16-05.

The female was described by witnesses as a white female, in her late teens to early twenties, 5'4" tall, thin build with dark blond or brown long hair. She was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and pink and white Converse style tennis shoes.

A reward up to $1000.00 is being offered for information leading to the identity and arrest of the female suspect.

Anyone with information as to the possible identity of the female suspect in this case is asked to call the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office Tip Line at 503-723-4949.

JACOB MGGHEE LODGED ON ROBBERY CHARGE IN CONNECTION WITH ESTACADA RESIDENTIAL ROBBERY

Jacob McGhee was arraigned at 3:00 p.m. today on a charge of Theft I and released on his own recognizance. Clackamas County Sheriff's Detectives then lodged Mr. McGhee on charges of Robbery I, Attempted Assault I, Burglary I, Criminal Mischief I, Assault IV and Menacing with bail set at $580,000.00. The new charges stem from the residential robbery in Estacada, which occurred on 6-16-05. McGhee will be arraigned on the new charges tomorrow at 3:00 p.m.

The female suspect in this case is still at large.

JASON MCGHEE IDENTIFIED AS SUSPECT IN ESTACADA HOME ROBBERY

Detectives have identified Jacob Jai McGhee, 29 of Portland, as a suspect in the Residential Robbery, which occurred in Estacada on 6-16-05.

McGhee was arrested on 6-17-05 at 7:05 a.m., after deputies contacted him in front of the Currinsville Market, 28424 SE Eagle Creek Rd., Estacada, and connected him to a theft from a motor vehicle in the area of Heiple and Samuels Rd. earlier in the morning. McGhee was lodged in the Clackamas County Jail on charges of Theft I and Unlawful Entry into a Motor Vehicle (2 counts) with bail set at 30,000.00. He is scheduled to be arraigned today at 3:00 p.m.

Detectives are attempting to identify and locate the female who was involved in the robbery. Anyone with information in this case is asked to call the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office tip line at 503-723-4949.

UPDATED INFORMATION-RESIDENTIAL ROBBERY IN ESTACADA-IDENTIFICATION OF VICTIMS

The victims in this case are Annie Hendricks, 51, and her husband Richard Hendricks, 58, of 504 SW Dogwood Rd., Estacada.

Clackamas County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating a residential robbery, which occurred today at approximately 12:30 p.m. in the 500 block of SW Dogwood Rd., Estacada.

The female homeowner, 51, reported that a male suspect came to the door of the residence asking to use the phone. The man gained entry to the residence and a female suspect then came into the house. The female homeowner received minor injuries in a struggle with the male, which occurred in the living room of the residence. The female homeowner was able to jump out of a window of the single-story house.

The male homeowner, 58, who had been outside, came into the residence from the garage and was confronted by the male suspect who was holding a piece of pipe in his hand. The male homeowner grabbed a hatchet from the garage and the male and female suspect left the residence, taking the female homeowner's wallet.

The male homeowner went to a bedroom of the residence where he retrieved a handgun and he confronted the male and female, who were by then rifling through his vehicle in front of the residence. The male suspect had broken out a rear window of the vehicle with the pipe.

The male and female suspects fled on foot with the male homeowner following at a distance. The male homeowner is disabled by an existing back injury and he was unable to give chase.

Deputies responded to the area but did not locate the suspects. At 1:30 p.m., an employee at the Estacada Community Center, 200 SW Club House Driver, Estacada, reported that his brown, 4 door, 1989 Honda Civic station wagon with Oregon license 992AJK was stolen from the parking lot of the Community Center sometime between 1:15 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. Broken glass was found in the area where the vehicle had been parked.

The male suspect is described as a white, male, in his early twenties, 5'8" tall, slender with dark hair pulled back in a ponytail and a tattoo on his neck. The male was last seen wearing a black jacket, dark pants and carrying a backpack. The female suspect is described as a white female, late teens to early twenties, 5'6", slender with dirty blond or brown shoulder-length hair. She was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
